Race Day Nutrition

The importance of your nutrition strategies on race day and the days leading to your race is well known, regardless of the type and distance of the competition. The goal of the race day nutrition program is to make sure you dial in your nutrition strategy so you can race to your full potential.

Please plan ahead – in an effort to make sure we can really dial in your race day nutrition plan, it is advised that we start working together 2-4 weeks before your event, depending on the duration/intensity of the event and your individual needs.

Fueling Program

This program starts with an initial consultation (60 minutes) to review your race day nutrition history, asses your goals, needs, etc. After this consultation, we will develop your race day fueling strategy.

You will get a detailed handout outlining your race day fuel, hydration needs, timing and analysis including an hourly breakdown. You will also receive suggestions for your pre race meal and hydration in the days leading up to your event.

I will provide product analysis and recommendations to suit your individual needs. To make sure your plan is working effectively, I will provide support (2 x 30 minute consultations) and tweak the plan as needed.

Cost: $120 – $200 (+HST)

Extras

More consulting time can be scheduled as/if needed. Additional strategies to consider are the week leading to your event, post race recovery strategies & supplements. For more information about consulting solutions, click here.
